Every Golf Club PGA Professional is looking for ways to improve the experience of his/her members every time they come to the course. Putting in pickleball at Lake Forest was a huge win in every way. Our tennis courts went from zero play to play with Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Couples Night and a fun crowded Junior program. In the first 12 months we saw incredibly strong club revenue growth with very solid food & beverage sales increases. Our new memberships grew fast enough to require a cap on new members in year two. Interestingly our existing Members really got involved in pickleball. They appreciated the new amenity added to their club with no increase in membership costs!
